Detection of insufficieny of supraspinatus partial tear

Summary / Zusammenfassung: Is there an entity: functional tendon insufficiency (in the presence of structural continuity)
- if yes:
- identification of entity
- clinical manifestation
- correlation with muscle (spectroscopy)

- Are there differences in patiens with supraspinatus partial tear:
- clinic: CS (pain, ROM, strength)
- "dynamic" sonography: different reaction pattern of the tendon
- MRI and spectroscopy (Goutallier)

- Which partial tear should be operated

4 groups:
1. asymptomatic (control)
2. symptomatic supraspinatus partial tear
3. isolated transmural supraspinatus tear
4. 1 year after reconstruction of transmural supraspinatus tear
