| Summary / Zusammenfassung | An interactive E-learning platform with curricular integration in the participating Swiss Universities’ Faculties of medicine. The project consists roughly of four parts: - CyberLecture; a virtual lecture text and atlas. - CyberTrainer; an interactive training program. - CyberNet; a discussion platform with focus on cases from practice and clinic. - CyberForum, a discussion forum with tutors. The combined work with these modules assists the student in learning the basics of dermatology with a problem based learning approach. The use of the Swiss Learning Objectives Catalogue as basis for DOIT helps harmonize medical teaching among Swiss Universities. (URL: www.swisdom.org). Support for maintenance has been granted till Octobre 2006. The program has been awarded "Finalist" (10 of 121) at the Conference of the Gesellschaft für Medien in der Wissenschaft in Rostock, September 2005. Besides the German, French and English translations, the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese languages are in preparation and probably will be finished in the first months of 2006; a Japanese and a Chinese translation have been started. The program is welll accepted by students and dozents and will be globally promoted. |
