Summary / Zusammenfassung	The purpose of this investigation is to determine the functional length of lever arms of some of the muscles that cross the shoulder joint in various rotational positions of the latter. This, together with the PCSA of each muscle, is a measure of the amount of torgue each muscle can contribute to equilibrate an external torgue to which the shoulder joint might be subjected to.
