| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The contribution of forces by the muscles that cross the shoulder joint is not singular when opposing an external force acting in the region of the hand. The situation is statically indeterminate. However, conditions of stability must be maintained in the glenohumeral joint, and this enforces restrictions on the range of force each muscle can exert. | ||
