Title / Titel	Biomechanics of the tarso-metatarsal joints, especially that of the 1st ray

Summary / Zusammenfassung	In normal gait the tarso-metatarsal joints are stabilized by the flexor muscles, and by the ligaments that cross these joints. The purpose of this study is to determine to what extent stabilization can be attributed, to the muscles only, especially with respect to the first ray.
