Original title / Originaltitel	NOP-Studie: Einfluss von Stickstoffmonoxid auf den menschlichen Stoffwechsel.
Summary / Zusammenfassung	The aim of the study is to demonstrate a positive effect of nitrogen-monoxide on osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. First we want to evaluate women who are treated for cardological reasons with nitrogen-monoxid donators. Animal and in vitro studies have shown, that this could be in the future a basis for a new treatment of osteoporosis because they show a direct influence on bone and especially on accrestion and resorption processes.
