Title / Titel	Highly reproducible measurement of implant wear in orthopedics

Summary / Zusammenfassung	Wear is relevant with regard to prosthesis loosening. Even small amounts are important but will not easily be detected. Minor wear can be detected by "analysis-by-synthesis" which is currently applied to a consecutive series of patients.
