| Summary / Zusammenfassung | This project aims the application of sensitive tests that allow the separate assessment of the improvement in motor functions and that in spinal motor pathways. Several clinical motor output measures (ASIA motor score, walking and motor perfomance studies) will be assessed to monitor the change of motor function during the course of a treatment intervention (weight assisted therapy in locomotor training). In parallel neurophysiological recordings (motor evoked potentials) will be performed to monitor any change in motor tract function. This approach will enable to develop a standardized assessment protocol to evaluate new treatments in human SCI. | ||||||
